12th AGILE International Conference on Geographic Information Science

On behalf of the AGILE council, the programme committee and the local organizing committee the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformatics of the Leibniz Universität Hannover is pleased to invite you all to the 12th AGILE International Conference on Geographic Information Science. The event will be hosted from 2nd to 5th of June in the city of Hannover, under the auspice of the university.
From June 3rd to 5th you can listen every day to at least one of the keynote speakers presented below. On the keynotes page more information about the keynote speakers and their topics is listed.

The conference workshops will be held on Tuesday 2nd of June and are a complementary forum to the main conference, encouraging presentation and discussion of work in progress and facilitating a dialogue on emerging topics in small groups. The description of the individual workshops are now available here.
Hannover is the federal state capital of Lower Saxony and houses a population of more than 500'000 inhabitants. Besides being known for its international fairs such as Cebit, it has also some interesting and beautiful sights that make a visit to Hannover worthwile.

The Ice-Breaker Party will take place on the 2nd of June in the atrium of the main building of the Leibniz Universität Hannover. The event will be held in conjunction with an exhibition of the German Aerospace Center: A New Perspective on Mars.
On the evening of 3rd June we invite you to either a common City Tour or an Evening Run.
The Conference Dinner will take place on the 4th of June in the New City Hall of Hannover.

Authors are invited to submit full papers, short papers or posters . The accepted papers will be published in the Springer series: Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography. Short papers will be published on CD.
