Aug.-Nov. 1997	Forschungsaufenthalt am National Research Council (NRC), Ottawa, Kanada, Visual Information Technology Group, bei Dr. Sabry F. El-Hakim.
2000	Promotion zum Dr.-Ing. an der Universität Stuttgart, Fakultät für Bauingenieur- und Vermessungswesen.
2000 - 2002	Entwicklungsingenieur bei der Robert Bosch GmbH, Hildesheim, Zentralbereich Forschung und Vorausentwicklung, Telematik, Funk- und Bildverarbeitende Systeme.
seit 2001	Lehrauftrag an der Leibniz Universität Hannover.
