Professor Kartik Venkatraman is a Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India. His research focuses on aeroelasticity, fluid–structure interactions, and the dynamics of flexible aerospace structures, with applications ranging from aircraft wings and propellers to advanced flight vehicles. He has made significant contributions to the understanding of unsteady aerodynamics and aeroelastic phenomena and has been actively engaged in teaching and research at IISc for more than two decades.
