Aim of the submodule GIS
The module imparts basic knowledge about the analysis and presentation of geodata (general) and deepens the knowledge in handling GIS software. The students are able to use GIS software fundamentally to solve simple spatial problems. Using cartographic methods they can convey spatial information. Contents of the submodule GIS Methods of spatial analysis on vector and raster data, possibilities of graphical presentation, generalization of spatial data.
The exercises deepen the lecture material and deepen the use of the GIS software ArcGIS.
